Group Camp 2021

Now that we are back to face to face Scouting, and life is starting to get back to normal, we have decided to hold a Group Camp.

On a Group Camp, ALL Beavers, Cubs & Scouts from the 12th Eastleigh are invited to join us for a weekend of camping, regardless of which Pack/Colony they are with, or if their sections leaders will be attending

This year, Group Camp will take place on the weekend of 10th – 12th September, at Cranbury Park. We aim to be charging no more than £30 per head for this event, which will cover the cost of the site, food, and activities.

Face to Face Scouting Suspended Again

Due to all of Hampshire (excluding the New Forest) being moved to Tier 4 controls, as from 26th December 2020, we regret that this means all face to face scouting must, once again, be suspended, as we move back to the Red Readiness Level.

As always, we will be keeping a close eye on developments, and will return to face to face Scouting at the earliest opportunity.

Please do keep an eye on the indicator, on our website, for our current status.

To all at the 12th Eastleigh

Face to Face Scouting is Back

We have come out of lockdown, and are now back at Amber Readiness, meaning we are able to return to Face to face meetings.

Your Section Leader will be in contact soon, if not already, to advise what this means for your Section.

JOTI 2020

JOTI, or Jamboree On The Internet, is an annual event where all members of Scouting can get involved, regardless of age. The aim of this event is to facilitate communication between members of the Scouting family world wide.

This is one of the largest annual Scouting events in the world, and really helps to build a sense of brotherhood and Scouting without boundaries.

This year, the Eastleigh District Cubs team are encouraging all Cubs to take part in this event, from the safety of their own homes, following the successful trial run, in 2019, involving 3 packs working together over 2 huts.

However, this is not just something we want to encourage our Cubs to take part in, but all members of the 12th Eastleigh, from the youngest Beaver, to the eldest Leader.

Full details can be found HERE, and using the log sheet posted on the page, we will be able to create a map showing all the places our members have reached, and publish it here for all to see.

District Cubs Scrapheap Challenge

Cubs, please remember the deadline is tomorrow to send in your entries for the Scrapheap Challenge.

Full details of how to enter can be found HERE

Given that any Cubs who attend Stoke Park Juniors are on an inset day, this is the perfect way to fill your afternoon!

District Cubs Scrapheap Challenge

This is a favourite annual event for our Cubs, run by the Eastleigh District Cubs Team.

Normally this event would take place at a scout hut, but this year it is being done in your home.

We would like to encourage members of both the Wolf Pack (Thursday) Cubs, and Big Cats (Friday) Cubs to take part.

Closing date for entries is 10th October 2020
