Beavers Cubs Scouts

Remembrance Parade 2020

Each year, all members of the Scouting family are invited to join the nation in an act of remembrance, for the 12th Eastleigh this is in the form of a parade ending in a short service where a wreath of poppies is laid, in memory of our fallen soldiers.

Due to the current situation, we are unable to hold a parade as normal, involving all those who wish to take part, but instead will be running a virtual (socially distant) event, with only Section Leaders, and Flag Bearers present. The event will be streamed from this site, with reminder links placed on our social media pages from 11am on Sunday 8th November.

As always, Flag Bearers will be selected by their Section Leader to represent each branch of the 12th Eastleigh Scout Group, and will process (socially distantly) from our HQ to St Marys Church. We ask that you watch the video stream of this event, and do not show up in person to watch.
