District Cubs Football

Well done to all the Cubs from the 12th Eastleigh who took part in todays District Cubs Football Tournament.

All of our cubs, on both teams, showed great teamwork and sportsmanship, with each team supporting the other in their matches.

The Big Cats won the competition, and have brought the Waghorn Cup back home to the 12th again.

All of the 12th leaders are proud of the way both teams behaved, with some of our Cubs even taking turns to play for the 13th Eastleigh, to help their team who were short on numbers.

Once again, a big well done to you all

COVID Closure

Due to a small number of COVID cases within our Group, our GSL has advised that we should close all Sections for this week.

As a result, there will be no Beaver, Cub or Scout meetings this week, to allow a firebreak, and prevent transmission of the virus to other members of the group.

We look forward to seeing you all again in a weeks time, and hope you all stay safe and well.

We thank you all for your understanding

COVID Readiness Level – Green

The Scout Association have now updated the COVID Readiness Level to Green.

This means most of the COVID restrictions have now been lifted, and we can resume Scouting as close to pre COVID as possible.

This is the first time we have seen green since the COVID restrictions were first applied in March 2020, and means we are able to resume business as normal, inline with government guidance. We will, however, continue to encourage regular use of hand sanitiser, our leaders will continue to wear face masks during indoor activities, and we must ask that you do not allow your child to attend meetings if they have COVID symptoms.
